With more than 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, David has the expertise and knowledge to successfully represent his clients interests and achieve their real estate investment objectives..
 In 2017, David formed Talon Commercial Real Estate (‘Talon’), A full-service Commercial Real Estate firm that provides investment, brokerage, and Property Management services. Prior to Talon, David co-founded Transwestern Investment Realty as well as owned and operated a successful Sperry Van Ness commercial real estate franchise. His companies acquired more than $400 million in commercial investment properties and land across the country as a principal, and brokered more than $1 billion of commercial real estate transactions. The property management division’s experience includes more than 2 million square feet of commercial properties. David managed more than 60 employees, including acquisition directors, seasoned brokers, property managers, in-house legal counsel, accounting, and administrative professionals.
David’s additional, prior experience includes working in the Title Insurance business with Chicago Title Company. He has also held management positions in the institutional banking profession with Bank of America and Citibank. Commercial Real Estate brokerage and development experience includes senior positions with Grubb & Ellis, Berkshire Hathaway, and other national & regional firms as well as ground-up commercial development with a regional builder.
David is a native Las Vegan and 4th generation Nevadan. He attended the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) and graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.
Kathy Stubbs
Director of Property Management
Kathy Stubbs, CPM®, CCIM®, RPA® oversees Office, Industrial, and Retail properties, as well as Commercial Property Owners Associations.
She has more than 30 years of property management experience, managing the assets of Owner/Developers, Financial Institutions, Bank Receivership, private investors, and REITs. She has extensive experience in operations and capital budgeting, financial reporting, tenant relations & retention, leasing renewals, and contract negotiations. Kathy holds a Nevada Real Estate Brokers/Sales License and Property Management Permit, and has held the CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation, CCIM® (Certified Commercial Investment Management) designation and RPA® (Real Property Administrator). Kathy has served on the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas IREM Chapter as Director of Membership. Kathy has served on the IREM Scholarship Committee, and Golf Committee, and previously served as the Chairwoman for Industry Partners. In 2003, 2004, 2008, and 2010 Kathy was named Certified Property Manager of the Year for IREM’s local Chapter, Las Vegas, 99. In 2010 and 2015, Kathy was honored to receive the Presidential Award."
